We would love to offer all our cottagewares to anyone interested, but shipping today can be just too costly! These are items that we make here at Fernwood Cottage that are only available for local pick up. You can find some at our vendor-partners (see individual listings), or can order online and pick up at our drop-point in Wayne Village.

These are designed for hard work & serious harvesting!

Basket size (13"x 21")
Our most popular for the pragmatic gardener. can handle most any job & is closest to the "traditional" Sussex Trug. Red Oak handle, rim, & feet with copper nails. Strakes (inside ship~lapped pieces that form the basket) are either red oak or rock maple, which are secured to the feet with brass washer-head screws for added strength. Finished with natural linseed oil. Available at: Full Circle Artisan's Gallery & Lisa Marie's Made In Maine or Order online & Pick Up.

Merry Christmas to all! During the holidays we focus on local artisan shows & pause our online ordering. In January, we resume crafting our Kitchen Tools. But, as steam-bending is nearly impossible in the Maine winter, we stop Trug making until Spring. You will be able to put yourself on the Trug Pre-Order list, however, & we will fill your order first thing once we can get back outside! Thanks for your patronage. We are grateful for all our many blessings this year thanks to those who see beauty in practical items.
